Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is calling upon nine of the biggest pharmaceutical companies to quickly make available new treatments for millions of people living with AIDS. One possible solution: a patent pool would allow the prices of those treatments to be reduced.
Make it Happen!
WHEN: Wednesday 28 October, from 5.30 P.M.
WHERE: Bains de Pâquis, Genève
MSF, Groupe SIDA Genève, Dialogai, the Bern Declaration other NGOs and associations will be present to jump in the lake of Geneva to catch a giant pill, unreachable for those who need it the most.
This will be followed by drinks and snacks during which the MSF representatives will present this new campaign. Several video clips will be shown.
If you want to help us without jumping into the water yourself, you can send an email to the pharmaceutical companies by logging on the computers that will be made available at the Bains de Pâquis site.
Or visit the Make It Happen Campaign platform and sign the letter today.
