Berlin, 16th October 2008: Demonstrators in Germany have staged a ‘Die-In’ outside the parliament buildings to draw attention to the chronic underfunding of research for tuberculosis and other neglected diseases. The protest led by MSF Germany is calling for a huge increase in the country’s contribution towards research funds for this disease that kills around 1.7 million people a year.
