TPP: Joint open letter to Barack Obama

Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF) and other organisations are demanding that the US government reconsider some of the provisions of the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) that threaten the production and distribution of generic medicines in signatory countries.

Without generic medicines the price of lifesaving drugs and treatments would be maintained at prices many people in the developing world are unable to afford. The more expensive these drugs are, the less people we can treat.
